This whimsical collection of animal prints was created to anthropomorphize farm animals and envision what they would look like in the garb of yesteryear. With ten prints in the series and growing, these characters started out as imaginative sketches and were then hand carved in mounted linoleum blocks. They were then printed on a vintage letterpress machine on 100% rag Rives Lightweight paper and a special printing ink called Antiquarian Black.

This print was handprinted in an edition of 100 and mounted on an acid free matboard. Print standards were observed during the printing to garantee the continuity quality throughout the editon. Keep in mind that the number in the edition you purchase may not match the number featured in this image. Each print measures 5" x 6.5" and is mounted on a matboard measuring 8" x 10" inside a protective plastic sleeve.
