Abducted to the Underworld against her will, she shines a vessel of renewal against the threat of decay. Possessing the duality of existing between the living and the dead, she strikes a balance to the cycles of time. All things must submit to entropy and all chaos must accrete to a new beginning; each in its turn. Part of the collection of works referred to as the Seba, these pieces focus on the meditative practice of creating a repeating star pattern. Seba is the name of the five-sided star symbol ancient Egyptians used.
