Life in the Flamingo's Nest is a serial comic that follows the stories of the people who frequent the fictitious Flamingo's Nest nightclub set in post-prohibition America. Joe the bouncer is one of the main characters and our initial story begins with his introduction and a view of the what his world looks like. The concept for this project began in 2014 during my undergrad studies. In 2024, I rediscovered this project and began work again.
