The Virginia Humanities commissioned a series of illustrations for a booklet called “Where I’m From.” The booklet materials were dispersed throughout the Albemarle County Schools and children filled out the prompts mad-libs-style that helped them pen their personal history. After folding and assembling the booklet, they would each have a completed book that told a little of each child’s recollections. The project was so popular that The Virginia Humanities decided to publish an accessible version on their website and commissioned me to create an infographic print-out to aid in participants assembling their own “Where I’m From” booklet once completed.
