The Virginia Foundation commissioned me to create a graphic for their annual new years card. This time they picked an Emily Dickinson quote and desired a graphic that would be typographically interesting. I modified the text of Emily Dickinson’s quote to integrate with a collection of feathers, wings, and stars like the content of her quote.
