This three dimensional glimpse into the quiet forest was once a book. Housed in a large carved out tome, the original materials were not stable and the structure began to burn and warp prematurely with the acid. I removed all the offending materials and carefully mounted the paper carved structure in an acid free matting and acid free foam board back. The whole is encased in a white washed wooden frame and museum glass.
